Teaching Method
Learning can be much more meaningful and motivating if it actually serves a purpose. Visuals is one of the most effective ways to provide a relatable reference for the grade 9 students. Visuals are just what you might think they are. It is a picture that accompanies the lesson. For instance, if you’re teaching a poem by Rudyard Kipling, have a picture of Rudyard Kipling available to share with the students. Having a tangible object that students can fully “experience” to help deepen understanding.

Teaching innovation
The students prepared to present the skit.
The good thing about giving the students this kind of activity is it can collect information about students’ learning states and processes and also can provide teacher with continual data on how each student is progressing.

Source of learning
I’d like to teach the students and give information about a certain topic through lecture. When lecturing, I stood in front of the class and discuss the materials. I mostly used books as a reference and summarize it in order for the students to learn quickly. I also use visual aids such as colored manila papers with information about the topic written on it. Yes it is important to use tools where students can learn easily.

Authentic Assessment
I asked the students to do a mini talk show featuring the theme from a song The Climb by Miley Cyrus “People Who Succeeded”
